Hi: My friend and I are women in their late 50's who want to get their open water certification. We live in San Ramon CA. Please give us some advice on where's the best place for us to learn to dive? Should we do NAUI or PADI? Glenda

I know Fairfield probably doesn't qualify as east bay for you. But I can't recommend Bill, Chris and the gang at All About Scuba in down town Fairfield.

Fairfield is a little far for us, but thanks anyway. glenda

The closest shops are Capt Aqua's and Sports Chalet... but unfortunately I don't know anyone who's certed from there recently... A buddy did Capt Aqua's about 4 years ago but who knows now

I am certified with Captain Aqua's in Hayward and would highly recommend Jeff C. Give them a call and ask to speak with him, he should work on Monday's.
