Hello, currently I am considering scuba diving as a recreational sport/hobby. I have had an interest in the sport for a couple of years and am giving serious thought to getting certified this summer (2009). I do not mind water or being in it (which im sure is a plus;)), however it has been several years since I have been to local lakes or pools for swimming or other water sports. I have been touring this message board for a week and see there is a wealth of information, and I hope to ask questions so that I can tailor that information more toward my own inquiries and concerns with scuba diving.

I lived there for two years (1974-75). Went to school (Kindergarten) for 6 months before my Dad was transferred to Sioux City, Iowa.... OMG...that was 30 some years ago..:shakehead:
