Gene Viau here, a frost bitten Canadian who loves to dive in warm water. :) Been diving for several years and finally got my wife involved.

I'm another frost-bitten Canadian. It's supposed to get to about -30 C, without windchill, by Saturday. Ick! I am -so- glad I am leaving for the Mayan Riviera in 10 days!

Still diving in balmy Ontario, 33 degree water, Welcome

Welcome from another frost bitten Northerner. It's about -27 here in calgary. Unfortunately I have to wait until March to get warm. Yahoo 1 month on the Mayan Riviera

Hi, Gene!! Welcome to ScubaBoard!! Greetings from warm and sunny Brazil!!!

I'm writing this from a beach in Brazil's northeastern region. The water temp right now is about 27 degrees celsius and air temp is 30 celsius (and it's past 9 pm!!)!!! Daytime water vis averages 30 meters and it's BLUE!!!! How does this sound???

My best dive yet was the first I did with my wife after her certification! From that day on, my diver's life changed completely!! We do go very well together and she quickly learned to love diving as much as I do, so we have been travelling all around and diving everywhere and everytime we can. And, last but not least, diving together with your wife makes it really more simple, I think you know what I mean... ;)

Dive safely, have fun, and happy holidays!!
