Sipadan Trip during CNY

Hi, I am an experienced female diver looking to go to Sipadan during the Chinese New Year Holiday for 4N/3days around Jan 24-27. Am coming from Singapore. Was looking to join with other divers so can share a room at one of the dive resorts. Those single supplements are outrageous and annoying!

I hope you have read the posts on the permit situation at Sipadan. Bookings are down 40% at several resorts. If you go you might be able to get them to waive any single supplement.

I'm booked to go back to SWV for CNY and I think they must have waived the supplement already as it's a LOT cheaper this time - perhaps because I'm a repeat customer or getting Malaysian rates

If bookings are down by 40% that's good for those people still going as there'll be far less permit issues...
