Hi all,

I'm new to ScubaBoard so I just thought I'd say Hello.
So, "Hello Everyone" :D

I've only been scuba diving for a short while and from the star I have been quite addicted. One of my issues is that I don't have my own gear or a regular dive buddy and that limits my diving. I hope by joining ScubaBoard and one of my local scuba clubs I can find lots of people to dive with and eliminate the "not having a dive buddy" problem.

It is the fall now and it is getting cold in my neck of the woods so the season is pretty much done with anyway, except for the Dry Suit & Ice Divers.

Scuba diving interests me so much I've already made a list of where I'd like to go next. I've already been to Australia to scuba dive and I would go back, but in no special order I have come up with five other places for my "Where to dive next" list.
Cozumel, Mexico
Dutch Caribbean / Netherlands Antilles (Bonaire)
Belize
Caymen Islands
San Salvador, Bahamas

It is my goal to visit one of these places next year for a week or two at somepoint in the September/October or the April/May time frame. These vacation dives are above and beyond exploring the freshwater dive sites around the Ottawa Gatineau area.

I hope to hear from yous.

We are glad you found us and the love of Scuba.

You should have no problem finding dive buddies here on the board in your area as well.

If you need any help navigating around just ask and many of us here will be more then happy to assist you.

If you're able to get away in June 2009, I have a small group heading to San Salvador... come join us. :D
