Hey guys im new to this whole forum things so try to over look the mistakes. My name is Bryan and I am a Padi Dive Master. My dad ran a padi facility here in southeast Kentucky, growing up most of my time was spent on a dive boat. Dad closed his shop down in 2001. Did not dive much after that due to my crazy motocross schedule. My wife was certified last summer and we are diving a lot now. I love to dive period it does not matter fresh water or salt, as long as I get to log soime bottom time. We are planning a trip to englewood fl to see some of her family. Does anyone know of a facility that is worth diving with in that area.

Were are you from in SE Kentucky? My wife and I are both from Corbin, KY but now live in the Louisville area. We still have lots of family down there and visit often.

What was the name of the dive shop your Dad ran?

small world, born and raised in corbin as well. Dads shop was on master street, Laurel Diving HDQ. Did you every dive with us. Im headed to laurel today just as soon as i can cut lose from work.

I was certified after I left Corbin but one of my best friends bag_one was a divemaster for them. I'd say you know him. Ironically he lives here in LaGrange now as well. I just dove Laurel yesterday at Craigs Creek campground.

If you make it up here to Joe's Quarry we'll definitely have to meet up. I bet we have a few common friends if we haven't met.
 
me and my wife dove today near the dam. we had a blast, seen some big largemout, i think i have found a new fishing hole...how was the dive in craigs creek. we have been talking about doing some quarry divnig soon.
 
The vis wasn't too good but we did see a few fish. I saw the largest carp you could imagine. I didn't know they got that big.

We went over to the dam but the game warden was hanging out there and I forgot the dive flag so we headed over to Craig's Creek.

Was the vis any better at the dam?
