I was wondering if this flash comes with the "Flash Link Cable"? It does not say it in the description and does not show it in the picture.

Also, does the diffuser lessen the brightness of this flash?

If you buy the External Flash (SL960) on its own, it does not come with the Flash Link (SL962). However, if you buy the ProSet (Camera with SL960 flash), then it does come with the Flash Link.

The Flash Diffuser (SL968), softens the light from the SL960 and SL960D External Flash to prevent over-exposure of close-up subjects which results in richer color balance of pictures.

Thanks. I am considering purchasing this flash and want to know all I can about it.

You may want to also consider our newer Digital Pro Flash (SL961). The SL960 is a great starter flash, but always fires at the same power. The new SL961 gives you the ability manually fine-tune flash brightness for desired effect and image exposure. It also features an auto mode which automatically adjusts flash brightness for optimal image exposure.

It's beginning to look like you're going to need more work hours, Denise :)

LOL! Or just more coffee! :coffee:

Well since I am a beginner photographer I don't want to spend to much on an external flash. But thanks for the info.:D

Awww crap! Here's another thing I "have to have" :D

Nice pics. But I don't want to spend too much money until I work on my photography some more. I also don't want my setup to be to big since I like crawling into caves and do a lot of cavern diving.
