So there's this small side-bar in the funny diving quotes thread about diving immediately after flying to lower your nitrogen saturation and extend your NDL ...

Yes, it's a big joke and no it doesn't work.

But it got me wondering. Is there anywhere you can go to learn how to skydive / HALO jump, land the the water, and do a nice relaxing dive all in one shot? Anywhere besides (maybe) the military, that is?

There's no good reason for it .... just seems like a really neat one-of experience not many people would have done. :D

Is that kinda like when you have an engine fail on take in a twin engine airlplane and someone asks "how long can you fly on the other engine" and you reply with "all the way to the scene of the crash" ? :popcorn:
 
I didn't think it would go the split vs force fin route...I was thinking it'd be more of a "do you use your OMS rig or the Oceanic when you bail out?"..because we all know integrated weight is important for free falling
