Stage6 is recommending transferring videos over to Veoh.

But looking around the site for a couple of minutes, I'm underwhelmed. The clips seem a little jerkier - it's not my 18MBPS connection...lol - of the two I watched, within about 30 seconds a popup was overlaid on top of the video offering to go to a barely related website - which you can click off.

Don't know if it has to do with my being a guest but I'm not going to register to find out.

I'll be the guinea pig. Uploading my Belize video to Veoh now......

Update, Veoh...better than Youtube, not as good as Vimeo.

Found another alternative. Blip.tv

Looks very good. You have a choice of showing your original downloaded file or their flash conversion. The flash conversion is definitely a big step down. But the original looks great. Definitely a nice alternative for former stage6 Divx people.

Here is my Roatan video on Blip.tv, my original divx file

Roatan Scuba Preview

And the same video on Vimeo, their flash conversion, since they don't offer an original file version.

Vimeo does offer original file, but only for download, not streaming.

That's good to know.

Have you decided where to put your videos ?

Over the next few days I plan on uploading more on Blip.tv. The flash version on Vimeo is good, but streaming my original divx file is nice. Reminds me of stage6.
