Hey Mwhites,

Are you gonna have your bud Frank with ya?
Look forward to seeing everyone tommorrow morning!

No, he won't be there. He took his son to the dr's and he has the flu. So, he will be with him this weekend. I sure wish he could come.

Well, change of plans. My son's acting sick again, so I can't bring him out and have him in the cold (and my mom wanted to keep him tonight and let him stay up too late, grrr), so you guys are going to have to have your fun without me. :(

Ahh, very well. I'm off to bed now. I just finished cleaning Franks camera/water proof case and o-ring. I'm hoping to get a good shot or two of everyone.

Goodnight. See all of you tomorrow.

Dropping like flies, we are. It finally seems to make sense why I was so dog-tired yesterday and today. Apparently I've acquired the megacold that the guys at the helpdesk next to my office graciously coughed all over the place. I was hoping I was just beat and dehydrated from yesterday, but nope.

Well, at least I got the 450-yard swim done last night, but I was so looking forward to diving Blue Water again. Well, I guess I'll save $80 in gas plus fills and admission, so that 100cf tank on sale might get a home...

(Note that the coughing makes the silver lining look all wiggly.)

Well, that was fun...water was cold as hell, but it was fun. At least the sun was shining! (and I got to put the Miata's top down for the ride home :D)

Now you gonna have to do better than this for a dive report! Sorry I missed it. Got home very late and dog tired from the West coast last night. I hope everyone had fun!

And the ones that COULD HAVE gone, but didn't get to. (My mom ended up keeping my son till after 6, but I didn't know it was going to be that late till it was too late to go. GRRRR)

Hmmm...I got there late ('round 10am) and missed out on all the good parking! Had to park two rows back...lots of people there...

The water temp (according to my computer) was 52 degrees. Brrrrr!

The air was pretty nippy in the morning, but it warmed up around noon...the sun was out...on the second dive, I actually got kinda warm in my 7mm before we hit the water.

I finally understand what is meant by "ice cream headache". I didn't think it was possible from just being in cold water. Ouch!

I dove with Noladiver...we had two pretty short dives, 'cause we were diving wet. There was a small handful of divers in wetsuits...most everyone else was diving dry.

Visibility seemed about average for the quarry (I've only been there a couple of times, though). We made it down to the schoolbus, the sailboat, and those giant concrete tube thingies...

I got to meet Denise, and someone from the Lake Lanier Loony Birds...didn't get a chance to touch base with anyone else from Scubaboard...

I'll be back March 1st, for sure.

...and that's about it. Hope that was better :D
