I'm looking for a travel BC and have been checking out these two. I'm trying to find out how they really compare from people who have used them. The Oceanic is about twice as expensive as the Zeagle -- is the difference between the two worth the price?

I'm a warm water diver who has to fly for all of my dives.

Thanks

The difference is not worth the price. I prefer(ed) the Zeagle Scout because it's more like a BP/W and doesn't have a stinking cummerbun. We don't need no stinking cummerbuns.

Evad, Thanks. :)

Looks like they added a cummerbun and small pockets. Urealfind.com has them for $199.00 now. That's what I paid at LeisurePro seven years ago and it didn't come with pockets (not that I wanted pockets), so it seems like great bang for the buck. Oh yeah, have you considered a BP/W?:D

I didn't think I'd like the cummerbund on my Scout either, but I got used to it and actually like it now. Fits like a glove.

I've been looking at those as well Evad. I haven't tried one yet.

Actually, I had planned to take the cummerbund off when I bought the Scout but found out you CANNOT do that with the way the new model is made.
