My wife and I just booked.....we'll be there from the 17th til 24th also.
We don't have comfirmation yet, but we'll probably stay at the Caribe blu again, and dive with blue angel. The package with diving is unbeatable (as much as I can find).
Let's hook up!
Tim and Lisa

Other than Tony's on the 20th, does anyone else want to hook up for a beer between the 17th and 24th?

The dates to get together will not work for me but have fun.

I am planning on Nov. 14-18 but am in the process of researching places to stay. Maybe some of you can help.

We are looking for something clean but pretty inexpensive. All-inclusive is not really necessary but would be nice. It would be great to have cheap booze and food nearby if we are not all inclusive. A couple that has stuck out during my research is: Casa Del Mar, Hotel Barracuda, Allegro & Hotel Cozumel. We would like to keep the total 4 night 3 day package under 750.00 It appears that Casa Del Mar is the least expensive.

If you have previously been to any of the resorts please share your experiences.

Thanks

depends what you want. Barracuda and Caribe Blu are on the water with pools. No frills but have AC tv mini fridge. Buy booze at the grocery store.

Barracuda short walk to everything but noisy during the day.

Caribe Blue 20 min walk to town very quiet and peaceful.

Villablanca 3 min farther than Caribe Blu, also peacefull and across the street from public beach.

Hotel Cozumel most economical AI within walking distance to town. About 12-15 min walk. Large pool, nice hotel, across the street from water. Food is OK but nothing to write home about. Free drinks all day some may enjoy.

Caribe Blu is my choice for relaxing. Barracuda to watch the hard bodies from 11am-4 pm. After that it's quiet.

I apologize in advance if this thread's been started, but here goes...

My buddy and I just booked air and hotel and diving today for Nov.14-19....staying at Fontan and diving with good ole Aldora.....anyone else in at that time there?

Glad to hear.....remember me(on the A570 camera pointers).......join us @ The Fontan with Aldora...we're in 14th thru 19th diving 5 days.....get back.......

We have stayed at Casa Martillo many times. It is located in Corpus Christi a short walk to Chedraui. It is very clean and quiet, daily maid service. The 2 bedroom units are very large and have a sliding door to the pool area. There are 2, 1 bedroom units. They are great size and are up a flight of stairs from the pool area. All have kitchens. The pool is nice, there is a covered patio area with tables and a grill. We are headed to Cozumel on the 10th and will be staying with friends at an all inclusive for 3 days and then will happily be checking into Casa Marillo for a few days of peace and quiet. Jed and I always rent a car but town is just a 10-15 min walk. We dive with Albatros Charters who are located right next door!
