Here's an example. 5 minutes ago, the site timed out for me. Went to one of the sites to check and it showed responding. Hit reload 3 times and then it came up. I get this behavior every couple of days. It happens with 4 different devices (phone, tablet, desktop, laptop) on home network, church network, and cell network, so it's not tied to any of those.

I know from experience that an intermittent issue like this can be almost impossible to troubleshoot, but since the thread is here, I figured I'd throw some data up. If it happens at home, I'll see if I can do a network trace when it happens.

Just for interest, I have one router that cannot find Scubaboard after it runs for a few days. It and find other sites, but not Scubaboard.

I keep getting ads with scantily clad women and also ones with bags of Doritos. No clue whatsoever how this is happening. 😂

I'm on ScubaBoard a lot (too much, probably). I don't think I've ever seen the kinds of time-outs you are describing. We are both Red (Supporters), so that's not a difference. Why you and not me?

@Miyaru had been in touch with me. He's going to check the logs when he gets a chance.

I still suspect it's the server getting overloaded. Some of these AI spiders are as bad as an full on Distributed Denial of Service attack.

Interesting link!

I have the same issue when accessing from my phone. I get the Page could not be loaded message. It stopped working about a month or so ago. On the computer it's fine.

I'm with @tursiops. I use ScubaBoard ALOT. On my laptop, tablet, and phone. Sometimes with a VPN, sometimes without. I never see the kinds of issues some of you are seeing. I doubt it is a ScubaBoard server issue. Feels alot more like an issue specific to your device or network.
