Question Buoyancy of Navy Triple 40s with 500 psi?

Would appreciate the buoyancy [fresh or sea water] of my '57 set of Navy triple tanks with 500 psi.

Phil,

I have never used the triple 40 cubic foot tanks, but I have seen them in photos. I think they are about neutral in the water at 500 psig. But, you can tell us about it when you get them wet.

Thanks John....best info so far is -6 full [2,220+ psi] and -1 at 500 psi...but you are absolutely correct, in water eval is what really counts to achieve correct buoyancy.....

44's right? I have a set of Rene's.

In a one piece 5mm in SW I need 14lbs. Never actually read them when low, but after using reserve (750psi) I am still neutral with a quicker up and down swing. No air cell of course.

I would love to put a twin set together with these tanks.

Hmmmm...always thought the Navy triples I have ['57] were 40cf each....soon as I find a horse collar BCD to purchase I will let you know....thanks for the information...
