It's funny how we select dive computers and algorithms based on our peers and what we fancy rather than anything more scientific. Not a criticism of the OP, most of us do it.

Science is boring. I base it on what makes me look good :p

I am a scientist.
There was an old United Technologies poster that said, "When forty million people believe in a dumb idea, it’s still a dumb idea." That is still true, and I wish more people -- especially in the US right now -- followed that principle.

especially in the US right now

Exactly. (I don't want to say more since it will be deleted, Americans can no longer handle the Truth! :) )

Since you are in Spain, you should be looking at Ratio's EU website for even better pricing. They are running big discounts these days in Europe, fantastic prices. Here is the EU website:

+300 dives comparing with other dive computers have made me conclude that the algorithm is very conservative compared to other ones.

Buy a Shearwater Petrel 2. Excellent computer with a built in compass. If it’s too much money then save for it. Takes a AA battery that you can easily charge. Big easy to read display. And you can charge the gradient factors to adjust your conservancy.

Another vote for Shearwater Peregrine. No problems with NDL compared with other divers that I've noticed. I like the large. easy to read screen that displays all the info I want on one screen. Battery life is great. At least for me I find the menus intuitive to make changes (turn on/off air integration, change Nitrox settings, etc.) You can get a version with Air Integration if you find that useful.

That may well be the case, but what does that actually mean?

You will have much shorter no-decompression limits, especially with multi-day, multi-dive profiles. If you're diving with others who have mainstream dive computers, you'll be considered an annoying buddy. It's very annoying.
