If it's just you and you have the time for week away then best value travelling from the UK (your location ID) will be c.20 dives on a Red Sea live aboard.
True total cost for a UK return will be GBP 2,000 if you share a cabin with a stranger, including full board, flights and airport parking and boat crew tip, plus anything you spend if you go out on the last night ashore. Add about another GBP 1,000 if you want sole use of a cabin.
The problem with Egypt is the cost of flights. Way cheaper going somewhere else or just head to Hurghada if I hve to take the flights.
Oman or Tenerife sounds like a plan.

Hello!

I live and dive in Muscat so can help you with an information you need.

Muscat is diveable all year round and access is very easy since the main international airport is minutes away from the Marina.

We expect the water to be warm (25ish degrees C) and visibility good (15+ meters) in September.

Dive centres I can recommend are Omantascuba for Dimaniyat and Fahal islands and Extra divers for Bandar Khairan sites.

If you want to go further afield than Muscat let me know where you want to go and I will recommend centres to you.

And give me a shout when you’re here please,
I’d love to invite you for a meal!
