Get those rooms/cottages high up and you will have great view of Sabang Bay.
Plenty of steps to negotiate, I am afraid.
Also in Sabang and more or less next door to Angelyns as mentioned in #10.

Never ever book FULL BOARD because there are many good places to eat.
Half board is all ones need.
Nov is indeed the low season.

We were there in 2023, late nov-early dec. We stayed at Lucky Tito which was pretty new at the time where their restaurant wasn't up and running yet. One thing to keep mind is if electricity is important to you, ensure it has a generator that they actually use. Lucky Tito did and it turned on instantly. Also double check that the resort will use the generator. We were in Malapascua at a resort called Aabana which had a generator, but they wouldn't turn it unless the power was out for a certain number of hour and it was to run the water only

Thank you all for the replies. I ended up booking Lalaguna Villas for the week. The customer service was by far the best of any resort I contacted... then combining it with offering 5 dives per day, great facilities, great reviews, and a short walk to the night life - I think its the best deal going.

El Galleon would've been my second option with a similar price range to LLV but just not as nice of facilities.

Scandi looked great but a longer walk to the nightlife and only offered 4 dives per day.

Atlantis looked good but the price came in almost $1000 more than all the other resorts. I dont mind paying for quality but it didn't appear to be much better value than any other of the others.

That place has a chinese restaurant!!!! Dead give away of their clients.
In PG, stay away from any dive operator/resorts that are mainly for conme chinese or Korean.

I always check the respective web site for as much information as possible.
Generator in PG is absolutely necessary in any resort because power surge happens regularly and can last for several hrs if not days!!
AC was a rare commodity 29yrs ago but the demand for power was NOT that great. There were only three bars and none had AC. How did I manage to survive with only candle in the bedroom ie. no fan or AC!!! Ah, all the windows had screen and so was the exterior door and I kept the main clock opened. Those were the days( not the song by Mary Hopkin).
