So this is the new answer from backscatter:
The cost to replace the dome optic in this lens is $175, which includes the parts and labor. After the new optic is installed, we will complete a pressure tank test to verify the seals and ensure no leakages in the system.

So i will probably eventually send it for replacement but since they will change the dome i will probably try to fix it before, just to see if it gets better or worse.
So any advice on ways to polish it 😅?

Micromesh wet/dry sandpaper kit. Course to ultra fine. Run the whole stack , followed my Novus medium and fine.

Will this be much cheaper than buying a new lens (including shipping, etc.)?

Micromesh is like $35 for the kit and Novus is like $25 for the kit. So it is a lot cheaper, but your hands will be sore.
More to the point, if you scratched it once, you are likely to scratch it again, so having a fix it kit is useful.

My dog votes a loud and convicted "NO!" to anything that involves "fixing".

I have polished out many scratches on acrylic domes. There are scratches and then there are gouges. If it is deep enough to catch a nail then polishing will be a challenge.

Many of these acrylic lenses have external hard coats to prevent minor scuffs and scratches just like eyeglasses may have. The Inon probably does, pretty sure it does. It can still be polished but you may see a difference in the surface that may or may not show up in photos.

I was thinking about it and new lens is around 420$ but I havent looked up yet how expensive is the shipping for repair. Im considering to buy the cheaper simillar lens from Aoi-uwl3 which is 260$(which will in the end be probably same price as the reapir with shipping) and maybe try to repair the inon one myslelf or leave it as it is
