Nah mate the cost performance of foregoing half a bottle of whiskey and buying a spare seal is very high

I used this brand of glue, and chose 705 transparent color. I don't know if you can buy it there. First clean the surface with alcohol or detergent, blow dry, and then cover and apply it (you can also wait for the glue to dry and apply it multiple times to increase the thickness)

Note: Transparent glue is very fluid, you need to keep the sleeve seal or collar seal as flat as possible, otherwise it will flow everywhere
Good luck!

I got the glue and will try it out soon (I also got another neck seal, but if I can repair this one as a spare I'm all for it)

Holes are just pin pricks, so I guess I can just apply the glue & dont need a patch? When I do that do I need to stretch the hole open to fill it or apply the glue on the unstretched seal? Also what (if anything) do you recommend I put behind the hole, as a surface, so that the seal wont stick to it if glue goes through the hole?

Maybe glass, a beer bottle or something with a curve to make it easier to manage

E2A: idk about the rest of your questions; but my gut feeling is you’d wanna stretch it just a tiny bit at first so that you get the glue to contact both sides of the hole and all of the edge (funny enough that’s one sided— topography is fun and mind boggling); but as it sets (but before it does completely) you’d wanna let it relax again so you don’t make a clump that will be easy to get torn away afterwards

So who has used their time wisely and found out which adhesive is used to fix the glass into single lens masks

Usually I will clean the collar seal or sleeve seal, squeeze a little glue into the syringe first, then use the syringe to aim at the holes on the collar seal to inject glue (you can use a little force to press the syringe on the holes so that when you inject, the glue will pass through the holes, so that there will be glue not only on the surface, but also in the holes and on the back). The glue does not need to be applied too thickly. The front glue can be about the size of a coin. If the glue passes through the hole to the back, try to make the back glue less, preferably not more than 2 square millimeters (too much glue will drip). After applying the glue, try to keep the glue application position flat or form a basin, otherwise the glue will flow everywhere. If you want to apply glue on both the front and the back, you must do it in 2 times, and operate the other side after one side is dry. In fact, for this kind of pinhole-sized hole, there is no need for complicated operation, and there will be no problem if the glue is only on the surface. If you are not satisfied, you can wipe it off with a cotton swab and operate again, or wait for the glue to dry and apply it again. The only headache is that the glue is relatively thin and will flow everywhere.

Good luck!

You can find something to hold up the collar, it's not that complicated! Use your imagination! After all, all roads lead to Rome! Haha
