I'm a Fish!
I got another box of goodies!
Oh boy! more crap to satisfy all
my hoarding needs!
I already scavenged the MK5/109 and an AL 1085, and two SPG's that *might* be usable, IDK?
the rest pictured is yard art.
One reg that I've never seen before is the Nemrod from Spain.
The Dacor makes good boat anchors,

door stops, paper weight, or perhaps a medieval weapon swung around by the LP hose?

The SPG’’s usually still work and can be useful, even if the rest of the gear should be fit for a scuba museum.

Maybe there should be more respect for the history of this stuff, how excited the past owners must have been
like the scubapor crew climaxing over the crap of today

crap

As with anything else, respect is earned and deserved, and it's a choice for those who dispense it.

It is not a given.

I salvaged the two nicer SPG's. It's hard to trust something that's that old and by the looks of it hasn't been taken care of all that well.
All this stuff was crusty and salted out.
It's hard to respect something that has obviously been disrespected in the past. Judging by it's condition, this stuff had been heavily abused in the past.

Eric...Spanish Nemrod? Hmmmm...dated to Inquisitions ? Hey, being old I value mature objects...Mrk5/109 will still be a great combo...

SPGs are optional anyway, abused or not...

The 109 is pretty beat up and missing the exhaust T but the rubber diaphtagm cover is in excellent shape, so I scored that for another 109 I have. The MK5 has two LP ports sideways on the swivel turret so there are better ones to actually use. But it does have a nice metal saddle that I scored. I will also salvage the spring and piston too.
There was also an AL 1085 second stage with a screw on T. It's pretty beat up. I needed a clamp ring and so I salvaged this one. I haven't opened it up yet to see what it looks like inside.

Ha! I can relate except in my case it amounts to a huge inventory of double hose regs and parts!
