Heat controller for heated undersuit - how many power levels are needed?

Looking at the heat controllers for Santi heated undersuits, and there are wide range of different options out there -
- some have 100%-80%-60%-40%-20%-off
- others have 100%-66%-33%-off
- others have 100%-50%-off

How many power levels do people think are needed?
 
High, low, off,
just like any led flashlight should have.
And remember the last setting.
 
Three or four not counting off. On/off is annoying
 
Ultimately it depends on what you're doing and where you're diving. If you're in the Arctic then on/off is probably enough, similarly if you have a relatively underpowered vest. If you are doing long exposure diving like we do in cave country then I would say 3 levels of heat as a minimum, preferably 4 so that way you can gradually increase the heat as you get colder during deco.

I’m not sure if they still say it but Santi recommended against using a pitkin controller because of the kind of heating elements they use
