I was in Fuvamulah this month but no macro there it's all about larger things. Hammerheads Threshers Tiger Sharks Eagle rays.
Dives to 40m and deeper were common as were deco dives. IT depends who you dive with and where.
I am going back in May but will also dive in Fuv Island for 30 dives and and in Dhangeti Island as well for 15 dives.

We are supposed to go on a liveaboard this October, but it burnt up. Now we are trying figure out if the trip is still on. We have already paid money on it. The dive shop is actively trying to find stuff out.

Its been a few years since we’ve been (but living in Asia for 12 years we have probably had 7 trips to Maldives) to both the North Ari Atolls and South Ari Atolls. I very much prefer South Ari ( (I love macro diving). We love a place called Lily Beach https://www.lilybeachmaldives.com/. We also did a liveaboard on Four Seasons yacht (combo honeymoon we never took and 25th wedding anniversary) which was also awesome. Enjoy the Maldives! It is one of my favorite places to dive in the whole world!
