I have a DUI Yukon drysuit. However, the wrist seal and the dry gloves are way to expensive. Can anyone suggest any cheaper alternatives for me instead?

Thanks

Try pullover gloves. No ring system, they never leak. (unless punctured)
Which pullover gloves specifically? I tried the DUI Dry5 gloves a few years ago and gave up on them. It's easy enough on put the first one on, but then pulling down the seal on the other glove is really awkward because it's hard to get a grip on the edge of the latex seal with gloved fingers. The ZipGloves-WD work way better, although the price is kind of ridiculous.

You can always make your own. The zip rings are removable from bad seals and gloves. You can sew and glue them back on any glove or seal.

Ansell Marigold 87-118 G17K Heavy Duty Black Latex Rubber Household Gloves

Some dive shops have them, but you can buy them online from Ebay, etc. They might be $25 for 6 pairs in bulk.

I would consider my glove size as Large, but I use Size XXL (10.5) which gives room for a glove liner and is very comfortable.

I don't find them difficult to put on at all, at least after you've practiced it a few times.

Can you get SiTech QCS oval installed?
DUI does offer Sitech seals. Pretty spendy though. But the Sitech seals cost mucho lesso in the long run compared to zip seals.

For dry gloves I ended up using Rolock 3 ring system mounted on the HD latex zip seals. Worlds better than the zip gloves since you can don them at the very end and take them off after the dive making it much easier to manipulate equipment. Also works as a standalone wrist seal so if you puncture a glove—or roll off the Zodiac with them still in my pocket like I did the other weekend—no big deal. With the Rolock 3 system (or other ring system) you can run Showa 720’s for dry gloves which you can buy for a fraction of a price (like $50-60 for a dozen pairs) of the zip gloves.

Downside to the Rolock (or others that affix to the existing wrist seal) is it effectively adds a couple inches to the sleeve length. As a result you wind up with the original zip seal collar pushed back up your arm a couple inches.

Now that we are in the cooler months, and thanks to the P valve, I don’t even have to crack the zipper on my dry suit until I’m done diving for the day. Just pop off the dry gloves after the dive and chill.

How did you install the Rolock 3 on the zip seals?
