The body was recovered:
Shortly before 11.20 a.m. on Saturday, rescue workers recovered the body of the cave diver who had died in an accident in the cave near the source of the Brenno river. This was reported by the Ticino cantonal police.
The man was at a depth of over 40 meters and about 200 meters from the entrance. According to the authorities, the victim is a 56-year-old Swiss national residing in the canton of Lucerne.
