I’m taking deco procedures next month and I’m trying to decide which first stage to run with my g250 for my deco bottle. We will be using 50% and aluminum 40 bottom mounted. I have a mk2 and a mk10 available.

I should have mentioned this will be in sidemount.

MK10.

*I'm trying to buy more cheap mk2s, they've gotten expensive...

Realistically a mk2 and mk10 are the same price these days.

Another vote for Mk2. Compact and reliable.

I'll vote MK10 only because I like to keep all regs the same and all my regs are Mk10s - they fill all purposes. MK2 use will be limited.

I’m more inclined to choose mk10 as well (I find myself facing the same choice as OP )since I have the mk10s for it

O2 clean orings are easy to source, but what about HP seat, would the „normal“ seat work?
(Sure crack it slowly and all.., but how inflammable are the standard cone seats vs the NLA o2 clean seat?)

I have MK2 on all of my deco bottles. They work fine, never any issues.
