Yes there are a few threads on this topic but I rally need a one stop solution in that I am travelling to the Yucatán on 11-17 August and would like to fit in 2 days Cenote diving as a trip down memory lane (did dos Jo’s in late 1990’s). So would be early nice to have an operator that was able to provide a photographer or videographer to capture the days (or days). I am also staying at Royalton Splash which seems to be in PDC but a bit off the beaten track for ease getting to a dive operator. Ideally I would like all equipment as I am travelling 17 hours and don’t really want the hassle for two days of diving. So full rental is good. Trim and buoyancy good and 400 dives under the belt. Can anyone suggest any operators that offer this type of service. I se Under the Jungle and a few other operators but testimonials will be helpful. Regards

unless the map i see is incorrect, you are staying way north of playa. almost in cancun. not sure if any palay operator will provide transport to and from there.

but if you can get to playa, i always recommend contacting matt at tankha. they run cenote dives all the time and have full rental gear. they also used to provide nitrox at no extra cost. not sure of they still do.

as far as getting pics and video etc.....many of the dive locations have staff there that regularly take pics and video that they will sell you. i would ask to dive one of the spots that offers this is you want that to take home with you.

Like @rick00001967 mentioned, some cenotes have photographers on site that will sell you photos.

However, IIRC there are rules about cenote guides not being allowed to do photos/videos while guiding. So def check into that with your dive shop.

I also highly recommend Tank-Ha.

Thanks for the feedback and the DM's. Yes, the reason for request on photographer is that the guide has to focus on the group and not be sidetracked and hence me looking to pay for a third party. Will let you all know how it goes. Regards

You can't go wrong with Under the Jungle. I'll be down there the same time as you, working with Nat. I've worked with everyone down there except Heather and given the quality and standards UTJ has, I'd dive with her without knowing anything more about her.

+1 for Under The Jungle, did a course with them earlier this year. It's a small shop that caters to individuals or private groups, so you pay a small premium but also means they will take you to the best sites off the beaten path that align to what you want to see and your skill level.

The guides can take some great GoPro footage for you, but I don't think they have a resident photographer for hire - that is if you were after a professional photoshoot or similar.

Thanks for all the recommendations and DM. I was surprised by how non responsive many of the dive centres were with online enquiries.

Eventually i went with DIVING CAPITAL. Fantastic, fast response times and ease lf payment through online payment gateway.

They gave ma price for tbe dives, transport amd photographer. No hiddem costs for park fees, eqiipment, refreshments etc.

They certainly earned theirbl transport fee and first day was over 90minutes each way to pick me up and drop off.

Daniel and Oli were super attentive and did everything possible to make sure i had a great experience.

Equipment was good, safety first and some great dives andnfantastic photographs. Small groups are their specility and that was great as it can be a bit of a circus at times.

Wish i had the time to squeeze a few mpre dives or even take a course with them so highly recommended.

Sounds good - u wanna share some of the photographs? Would bei interested in seeing them... Cheers
