Would be cool if they ever project enough sales to make one of these like the ResQLink that fits into a dive canister like the Custom Divers one.


Still keeping the Nautilus around until then. Even though my first one flooded.
 
Hoping to have a larger version of the DRYFOB at one point. A couple of failed attempts but we think we have something that can work. Now, trying to keep it closer to $100 instead of $200. More to come on that front ...
 
To be fair, AIS is not DSC and while DSC is mandated on new US mounted vhf radios, AIS is not. (although vhf radios with AIS reception capability is becoming widely available). However, unlike DSC, a AIS transmitter does not need a USCG permanently assigned MMSI number which makes it suitable for this application.
