I'm a Fish!
I know that AquaColorFix was meant to be an iOS based app but I have the Mac version. I am frustrated though that the application will not look at hard drives (internal or external) only your Photo's folder. I like what the app can do I just would like to be able to point it at an SSD to process the video on. Am I missing something or is even the desktop app tied to iOS contstraints. I cant find any settings where it will see my hard drives.

You're not missing anything. AquaColorFix on a Mac can only "see" the Photos folder. I've only been fiddling with AquaColorFix for a couple days, but I'm amazed at how good it works.

I just dont know why the lock it down to one folder.

After spending hours and hours and hours with it, color correcting hundreds of recent dive video clips, I REALLY wish it could do two things that it does not currently do:
1) Function with videos in a folder (currently, on a Mac, you are forced to put the videos into the Photos app so AquaColorFix can see them)
2) Batch color correction. It is very tedious and time consuming doing them one at a time.

I recommend you try an app called “DIVEROUT” which offers AI-powered color restoration, batch processing for free with no watermarks, and can also manage dive logs for various brands.

Bummer - I can't use it - requires a Mac with an M1 chip - mine is a 2020 model - the last of the Intel chips. But thanks for the idea.

You're welcome. I'm sorry that I couldn't be of help.
