Want To Buy one PST "wine bottle" 72 steel tank; US Divers (Rene) or Aqua Lung Inc. is okay.

(Yes, I know they are rare; and no, I'm not interested in hearing about the one you have but won't part with.)

If you have one for sale or know where one is, please let me know. Thanks!

Pat

Sorry to not respond with one to sell - but I've never heard of PST with anything other than a round bottom. Do you have links or pics of what you are looking for? although I don't have one in any case - but curious.

The first batch of steel 72's PST made had concave bottoms; 53 and early 54; some went to Rene's USD in SoCal and others went to the Aqua Lung Inc. folks in Florida. They were used by the film crew in the making of Creature from the Black Lagoon and worn onscreen by Captain Nemo's divers in Walt's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I need one more for a set of duals I'm making for a Leagues rig.

After that, they went to the convex "outie" bottoms.
