I have a Sherwood Wisdom 4 computer that started flashing the message ‘TOO’ during dives. What is it trying to tell me? Where can I find the index of wisdom4 messages for future reference.

Hmmm.... Update, the message started appearing in the middle of a week of diving at a resort. After a few days, I took a 4 day break then resumed diving on a live aboard. The message did not clear after 4 days off. The message starts flashing on every dive as I descend as soon as I hit 30ft, and stops when I hit 20ft and do my safety stop. I have checked all the settings and can't find any alert that would cause this.

It's possible the message is 'T00', T-zero-zero. Any ideas at all??? Sherwood support keeps telling me it has to do with too rapid ascent, which makes no sense because the message starts on descent, at 30ft.

Only Mention of either "TOO" or "T00" I could find in the manual, not sure how helpful this will be:

When the Maximum Operating Depth of 330 FT (99.9 M) is exceeded, or 399 FT (120 M) when DigitalGauge Mode is set ON, the Wisdom 4 enters Delayed Violation #3 displaying Current Depth and Max Depthas 3 dashes (- - -) signifying out of range.

The Audible Alarm will sound and the red LED will flash (even if set Off). The UP Arrow and NiBG segments will flash and the message UP > TOO > DEEP will scroll at the top of the screen.

When you ascend to, or above the Maximum Operating Depth, the Current Depth display is restored, however, Max Depth remains as 3 dashes (- - -).

After you surface following any Delayed Violation, and a 5 minute surface interval has elapsed, the full NiBGand O2BG flash indicating that the Wisdom 4 is in Permanent Violation and operation reverts to ViolationGauge Mode for 24 hours.

I'm guessing your computer isn't in gauge mode & I'm guessing you didn't exceed 330 Ft So I'm not sure how you would see this error. Did it just flash "TOO" or are other words coming after it?

Sounds like it could be an issue with the Pressure sensor possibly since it is triggered by going deeper than 30ft and fixes itself after 20ft.

Honestly sounds like something it needs to go back to the manufacturer for if it's still in warranty. Can you get your hands on an additional computer / look at a buddies computer to check the depth against while underwater?
