SeaLife has launched a series of underwater lights and accessories designed for GoPro® cameras with its line of Sea Dragon lights and Flex-Connect trays, grips, arms and mounting accessories.
GoPro cameras are well designed for underwater video, but require plenty of light to bring out bright colors that otherwise would go unnoticed said Karl Schuster, SeaLifes Dive Sales Manager. Trays, grips, arms and mounting accessories are also important for using GoPro cameras underwater, since theyre very small. SeaLife has developed three powerful, compact LED Photo-Video lights, the Sea Dragon Mini 600, 1200 and 2000, which includes adapters to quickly connect to your GoPro. The Sea Dragon Mini 600, a new 600 lumen pocket-sized light includes Y-S, GoPro, cold shoe, and AquaPod adapters.
The new 1200 and 2000 lumen Sea Dragon lights include the innovative Flex-Connect trays, grips, arms and mounts that click together and separate in seconds without tools, allowing convenient, lightweight traveling.
Flex-Connect Accessories for GoPro cameras:
· Flex-Connect GoPro Adapter (SL996) One of the newest adapters from SeaLife, allowing the camera to be mounted anywhere the versatile Flex-Connect system goes on the Flex Arms (SL9901) which mount to any tray or Flex-Connect accessory. SeaLife also offers a Flex-Connect Cold Shoe adapter (SL991) which allows mounting of your GoPro camera on your still camera or any other cold shoe location. · Flex-Connect Dual Tray (SL9904) To compensate for the extreme wide field of view of GoPro and other POV cameras, its recommended to add two lights for maximum coverage of the cameras field of view. The Dual Tray allows for a comfortable grip of the camera with the ability to add two lights. Flex Arms (SL9901) can be added to direct the light to a desired angle.
· SeaLife AquaPod (SL913) Underwater Monopod - One of the mostpopular GoPro Camera accessories. Shoot video from unique viewing angles of yourself or get up close to sea creatures, the AquaPod. includes a GoPro adapter and a traditional 1/4 -20 camera mount.
