This morning, the sun was shining. The water is getting a bit colder now. It was 15 C. We spend about an hour between 4-11 m
We were going to do a couple of boat dives today, but apparently somebody had crashed in to the boat yesterday, so we took our car and drove to this place, which is always nice if the water is not to murky :)
Enjoy..

Nice I have been looking for dive buddies in the area to dive with I am a PADI Divemaster with over 300 logged dives. Any suggestions on where to meet people to dive with in the Zeeland area.??

Guy,
Try to post a message on duikforum.nl, the Dutch online forum for divers. Since I'm a wetsuit diver, the diving season in the Netherlands is now over for me, until April or May.
Good luck!

Try the Belgian site duiken.be forum as well, lots and lots of Belgian divers in Zeeland. Or just turn up at one of the popular sites and ask around: try Scharendijke, Den Osse, Wemeldinge, Goes Sas or Zeelandbrug.

Sorry, I have been busy and not on this forum for a while. But the suggestion to look at http://www.duikforum.nl is adequate. I can help you with a posting there if you wish. The water is indeed dry suit cold now, till may and the life is also quite subdued under water in Zeeland. I will not be diving a lot in the coming months as I am preparing for another job.
When would you be here in the Netherlands?

Thanks guys. I dove Scharendijke last weekend, lots of aquatic life, but visibility was like 2 meters, locals told me that was poor so I 'm not sure what affects the visibility of the area.

Zeeland is only a two hour drive from where I live so I can really dive anytime.

Nice to see you enjoyed your dive. The visibility is however not the best at that site. It is almost always beter at Den Osse (Kerkweg), just 1km away. Another nice place is Zeelandbrug. But this is tidal water and the currents are strong, so be careful to enter only 30 min before low or high tide. At the shop in Nieuwerkerk (Waterworld.nl), 5 min. away you can get free air on weekends. At the Zeelandbrug are the most nudibranches to be found and also in spring there are sepia's nesting there. If you want more info on dive sites feel free to ask, but I think you have a better chance that I'll see it if you send me a pm. My wife has been diving Zeeland for over fifteen years and knows a lot of sites.
