I have had my Zeagle Zena for about two years. After my last dive, I noticed that one of the fasteners connecting the fram of the BC to the inflation section is missing.

This in no way affected the dive but I would like to replace it as inexpensively as possible.

Would it be appropriate to fasten it with a zip tie?

You are going to have to help me understand this part...

Are you talking about the black plastic bands which go around the corrugated hose at the top of the BC, around the remote exhaust?

If so, those are just zip ties!!!

If it is something else, please let me know and we will go from there!

Thanks,

Scott

Thanks for the reply.

No, the piece that is missing is a small, dime-sized balck disk which secures the inflatable part (bladder?) to the vest section. It is located on the back/bottom section of the BC.

Does that make sense?

Does the part go through a grommet hole, and is there another one on the other side??

It sounds like a 2 piece screw fastener....yes???

If so, PM me your address and I will send you one in the mail!!!

This is why I own a Zeagle BC and why my next reg will be a Zeagle. So when are you going to start making computers!?

Ditto for me, Scott, you rock!

Ditto....this is why I'm so proud to own a Zeagle BC and Zeagle Regs....and would have a Zeagle computer if you made one. ;)

But the Aeris/Oceanic guys on the board are proving themselves to be just as wonderful as Scott, so I don't feel too badly at having an Aeris computer. :D

For those with Zeagle BC's, its a good idea to check those double sided bolts from time to time, they will work loose. I keep an extra one in a spare hole in the BC just in case one does get lost.
