I am considering buying a Zeagle Stem from my dive shop. I realize the best BC system is the one that fits the best, but I was wondering is there any downfalls to the Zeagle systems that I need to consider?

Which model are you considering? I've owned a Ranger LTD and a Stiletto so can comment on those.

Since Zeagle has the PFS (Personal Fit System?) it should be possible for your dealer to mix/match pieces to ensure a good fit - mine did.

The only known downfall of a Zeagle BC is that if you later decide you want something else, you'll have to bite the bullet and get it, because if you wait for the Zeagle to wear out, you'll wait damned near forever.

I have owned a Zeagle Ranger for more than 10 years. Would love to get a smaller and lighter BC but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my 10 yr old BC

Air travel was the only reason my Ranger got sold, I have a faded and very well used Scout that has got a lot of years remaining in it. Unless you need twin tanks, I would suggest one of the lighter Zeagles, otherwise they are great BCs.

I love my 911--it 's old enough now it has some brown around the edges from being in the pool more than a few times.

You can't beat Zeagle's warranty response. As far as I'm concerned their warranty is the best in the business--AND they back it up.
