Just curios, anyones tried switching the Stiletto's wing to a bigger one... as in, is there any possibility of converting this to a double tank capability?

The Stiletto BC is made only to single tanks. It does not have dual tank capability.

You can, however, add a single tank 44 lb bladder, if you so desire...the Zeagle part number is 7318, and the retail price is $297.

Thanks,

Scott

If you add the 44lb bladder is it then considered dual tank capable?

Just guessing the "single tank 44 lb bladder" doesn't make it dual tank capable.

The harness is the problem, it can not be set up to accept doubles. Unless I am mistaken, you could install the Ranger bladder (the 44lb one) on it which would be capable of handling doubles but you still can't make the harness accept them so why bother. Your going to need a different BC.

My question to Scott was just to confirm that was what he was saying.

No, the Stiletto is not a doubles BC... period!

You can add more lift in a wider bladder as Scott stated, but as Herman noted, it's the harness that was not designed for doubles.

The Stiletto is a really tough streamlined BC. It is a "Testers Choice" travel BC.

Unlike it's bigger brother, the Ranger, this BC has a maximum design for the largest single tank, with a good sized stage bottle.

Stilettos have been seen hitting the low 200'+ range on the backs of some of the best spearfishers in the country.

Not every tech diver needs double tanks!
