Chad Carney:Split,
I like my Stiletto better than both my BP&Ws.
You nailed most of the important differences.
Corpsman,
It's also lighter weight and has a more compact harness.
Brigade can later adapt to doubles; not so with the Stiletto.
I can't remember, but the Brigade may not come with the rear weight system and lumbar pad. Stilettos do.
Chad
Ahoy:
They both have about the same lift, but the Brigade is based on the Ranger harness while the Stiletto is ground up design with a more sturdy more streamlined wing than the Brigade.
Pockets andweight pockets are a little smaller on the Stiletto.
I had one (Stiletto) and I think it is the best thing since canned fruit, but for my BPW's.
Just sold it.
If Scott , Chad or Larry don't jump in here, I'll give you the specifics as best I can on both.
Actually the Stiletto has a smaller bladder than the Ranger. The Stiletto is it's own harness and shares the same bladder with I believe all the lower model of Zeagles. The Brigade is the Ranger harness with a Stiletto/Escape bladder. The Brigade harness is a heavier nylon. Both use the modular design where it can have a shoulder harness that's a different size than the waist. This is a great feature if you need something with a more custom fit and it does not change the cost if you get it pieced together in 2 different sizes. I would go for the Brigade or the Stiletto. I have a Ranger and would like a smaller bladder. The Stiletto also has plastic D rings where the Brigade is metal.
