Can anyone provide a workable method of adding a d-ring or other mounting point to the inside of a Zeagle Ranger pocket?

ZULU6,

Some shops sell a small D-ring that is attached to a 2-pc screw together post. You'd poke the post through the pocket wall and screw on the "nut" on the other side. The one I've seen is a small D-ring - maybe 1/2 to 3/4 inch - but it would be suitable for keeping something like a small light from falling out when opening your pocket.

I'm thinking Trident was the brand I remember seeing. Maybe someone could post more info on this for you.

FWIW If this is for attaching things you are storing inside the pocket I found that I prefer a big loop of bungee chord instead of a D-ring. It was easier to pull things out of the pocket and attach them.

The reason I mention this is that you may be able to mount a loop of bungee (I use a 1ft section tied in a loop) more easily than a D-ring depending on your rig... Just another option.

Aloha, Tim

Dennis, you are correct trident has a few diffrent versions of what are called "pin clips" I don't remeber if there were any that had d rings but there is a varriation or 2 that have clips at the opposite end of the pin, theses are useful for pockets. Hope this helps
