got the wrong size but still dove with it 3x..?

i'm new to diving, isn't that kinda dangerous..?
wouldn't you be able to tell it was the wrong size after just 1 dive..?
or even at the store before buying..?

can't really tell in the shop for sure until you dive it. no matter what bcd you buy it takes a couple of dives to get it fitting just right. it would only be dangerous if it were way off and this one i just can't get it tight enough in the shoulders, straps are pulled all the way down, thats the only problem. i like my bcd snug and with the straps pulled all the way down it's a little off for my likeing.
