At the Ranger's page on Zeagle's website the photo shows what I believe is what you refer to as the 2002 model (although the adress calls it 2001)

Anyway, it's my old bc. If you look at the .pdf data sheet, it shows the version that should be currrent. I enclosed a pic of it below.
From what I gather they got rid of the roll-up pocket on the right side and replaced it with a hidden foldout mesh pocket at the front of the cummerbund. Other than that, I can't see any changes of the specs and what I've got.
Personally, I like my pocket as is. It doesn't cover my quick-release (what's the point of having it when you can't get to it quickly:confused: ) and fits my back-up mask (Dacor Bandit) perfectly.
Then again, I barely dive it anymore, my girlfriend uses it.:D

From what I heard, the new 2004 model will have many new design features such as a new lighter bladder and shoulder dump valve. The only problem is I don't know when it's gonna be out.

Next month the DEMA trade show takes place, which is the likely place and time for Zeagle and other manufacturers to introduce it's dealers to new products.

Older has 1 dump valve(what I have), and the newer ones has 2 ( the one that mybuddy bought a little later)
