While browsing through some of these discussions, I went and looked at a few BCs I have been looking at. I keep coming back to Zeagle, in part because I love my Concept II. As I went through it a few questions and suggestions came to mind.
Scott Zeagle, a few of these are for you to take back about the Zeagle web site.

- On my Concept II there doesn't appear to be a good place to mount a dive tool, and the Ranger LTD doesn't appear to be much better. I have on my right shoulder strap right now, which works, but is a tad awkward. Any thoughts or suggestions. The SeaQuest has an itty bitty knife that can be attached which is an option on those BCs.
- While the pictures of the BCs on the Zeagle web site were better than those of SeaQuest, they still could be improved. How about adding multiple views from different angles. The Zip Mount Accessories also aren't very clear on the Ranger LTD. The pictures on the 911 were downright hard to figure out. Pictures are important because the LDS doesn't always stock all the brands for us to look at, particularly the high end units.
- I've been considering a Pony bottle and the Zip Mount on the Ranger LTD looks like an interesting solution. I'm currious if anyone has experimented with it and how well did it work upside down (which looks like how the picture is showing it). My big concern would be bumping the valve when putting on and off the BC. How badly does wearing a Pony there throw off your balance.
- One of the things I don't care for about my Concept II is only having two dumps. Its not so much for under water, although a right shoulder dump would have been nice occasionally. What I would really like is dumps on both sides for the bottom of the lift bag. That makes it easier to clean as well as drain the water.
- I've gotten use to the CAM straps and I like the doubles on the Zeagle, but I have to wonder if someone can't come up with something better. Why can't we have a carrier that attaches semi permanently (removable for hydro) that can snap onto the BC/BP. Most of the hassile of setup is getting the BC on the tank, and if you are changing out you need to pull the weights. Why can't we just lay it down, pull a lever and have the thing ready to pull off, just disconnect the regs and your ready to pop on a new cylinder. Seems someone clever should be able to come up with something fool proof (okay never underestimate the inginuity of fools). Do it right and it could also be used to help keep cylinders from rolling around in a car, or you could come up with mounting brackets for storage. Lots of possibilities.
