Due to a theft I have a lone Zeagle ZX 2nd stage. It started out as a Zeagle DS4 1st with the ZX 2nd. I really enjoyed this set up, but would like to try the Apex and it's more reasonable pricing. Is threre any problem with mating this configuration: Apex DS4, Zeagle ZX primary 2nd , and Apex TX40 as back-up 2nd?

No, there shouldn't be a problem. Go ahead with the DS4. I would take my second stage with me to make sure the port sizes match. the only apeks first stage that will not match is on the DST. Thats the one with the swivel. But it is only the one port that is slightly larger (3/8) than a conventional port. I have a DS4 and it works great easy and cheap to service while nice and low profile on the tank. I know a place that sells 'em cheap.

My primary reg is a Zeagle ZX / Apeks DS4. No problems at all.
