After a couple of weeks of sitting in a bag of rice I was able review the video on the camera.
All I can tell is that the owner was male, bought the camera from henrys.com and lost it the very first time he took it out as there was no diving shots. The camera was tested in a backyard pool and a living room.

You cannot assume the owner was a male just because the person looks like a man. Not with all the transgender stuff going on lately.

Also he or she might have carried the camera on one or more dives and opted not to use it possibly because of task overloading or nothing worth filming.
