There's been a lot of discussion about them since they came out, both here and over at The Deco Stop. People seem generally very pleased with them. I certainly like mine, especially the one on the secondary bungeed regulator.

There is a small minority, including me, who just do not like them. They are unccomfortable on bare skin (the braiding chafes bare skin), the end near the crimps fray (which makes them more uncomfortably chafe prone.), and they have a weird sort of memory of shape that makes them not lie particularly flat or well. Most people have none of these problems, but those that have them, have them.

I'd
trade my five foot Miflex hose for a five foot rubber hose in a second. But I cannot get any takers in my immediate surroundings. Which says something about what those around me think of them, I guess, since it is clear that the Miflex hoses should be longer lasting.

I use a few of them and really like them!

The wife and I switch over to them on our regular set ups. They are great, keeps everything closer to the body, took care of any reg push or pull problems.

I replaced all my hoses with MiFlex and I love them. I can make one recommendation, unless you are Tech or a special application diver, get MiFlex hoses one length shorter than the conventional rubber hoses, especially the HP hose. The flexibility makes longer hoses unnecessary and they tend to "flutter" in high current. I replaced my standard 29" LP hose with a 26" MiFlex and it works perfectly.

I have to disagree with this advice. I replaced my 32" HP hose with the same length and wish I chose a longer length. If using a console with a compass a longer length is nice.
