Hi, I am new here, a silent reader, and I bought myself the xdeep Zen Deluxe set.

I already read a lot on the Internet and here, but now, after purchasing the xdeep Zen Deluxe set, I figure out a few more things.

For now, I took off the padding on the shoulders, but I keep the plastic buckles because on a boat and with a dry suit, it's easier to take the BPW off.
In the future, I might change that to more DIR, but for now, I only want to spend the necessary money.

My Question:
I want to mount some trim pockets to my backplate.
I didn't purchase the DIR Backplate Version, so I kind of can only use the holes in the backplate, I guess.
Sausage weight pockets also do not work with standard lead at some dive bases.

The Zen Backplate:

Why not mount trim pockets to the tank cam bands?
I used them before at the tank cam bands, and even though they work, I would like to develop myself slowly closer to DIR, and I think it's a bit more annoying replacing the old tank with a Fresh one with both pockets(lead inside) in my way.

Do you have any idea how I could mount some small backplate weight pockets to the xdeep Zen backplate?
Which one would you advise me to use?

The most important thread I read here about my topic with pictures:

You can be as creative as you want. I attached 2 trim pockets to the top of my backplate with aluminum pop rivets using the holes which were already on the plate. One on each side which will hold either a 2 or 3 pound weight. I also use 2 weight pouches on the upper cam band which hold up to 5 pounds each. I don't use weight near my waist.

You're using also the zen backplate? You got a picture from it?

I have Hog plates. The process would be similar.
