Xdeep Ghost BPW with blue trimmed wing and large aluminum plate, blue trim pockets mounted behind each shoulder between plate and wing, blue ditchable weight pockets at each hip. You can get about 5-6 pounds of lead in each for a total of 24, but I dove this in a 3mm shorty and only needed a couple pounds in each hip and a pound in each trim pocket and was very stable and horizontal. I only used it on two dive trips, always rinsed well, babied like all my dive gear, nearly new condition. No leaks, no tears, no monkey business. Nothing wrong with at all, just culling some spare dive gear. I'm 5'9" 210lb and there is plenty of extra webbing if you've got a little extra bioprene insulation this winter and need some slack. This has the xdeep shoulder pads from the deluxe kit but is not set up with quick release buckles.

$600 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 via ground with tracking, or local pickup in WI

Let me know if you have any questions, want to see some more pictures or just want to talk about diving. All the manuals and stickers and original rubber inflator hose included as well. Cam bands were switched out for some higher quality stainless bands that lock down better than the original plastic cam bands. You can't see in the pictures, but this has an aluminum STA. Of course the tank isn't included and you know someone would ask :)

DM sent. I'm interested.
DM interest from a few parties. I'll answers all questions asked here though for convenience, and feel free to continue to DM or ask questions here as you prefer, happy to fill in some blanks!

1) Xdeep makes a small and a large plate for the Ghost. This is a large. In rough terms, 5'8" and shorter for the "small" plate and 5'10" and taller for the "large" plate. That doesn't tell the whole story though, its more about torso length. If you're somewhere between 5'7 and 5'10 and have a shorter torso and longer legs, go short, if you're in that range and have a longer torso and shorter legs, go long. If you're just over 6 feet, this is definitely the right size, and will fit you just fine, just lengthen the shoulder harnesses about an inch and the crotch strap about an inch from current position for starters. When properly configured, you should be able to easily slip into the shoulder harness from a sitting position (think chicken wing), make a fist underneath either shoulder, and when the crotch strap is captured by the waist and cinched up, you should still be able to reach over the back of your either shoulder and just barely touch the top of the plate with your fingertips. If you can't, loosen the crotch strap a little more until you can.

2) This is neither the "deluxe" nor the "standard" version as I replaced the harness with custom blue webbing sourced from Aqui. It has the shoulder pads from the deluxe version but does not have the quick release buckles as I think quick release buckles on a BPW are silly and uneccesary. 50 percent of scubaboard agrees. You can easily adjust the shoulder harness length by adjusting the tri glide at each end of the harness for a custom fit.

3) The crotch strap is included and is the factory y-shaped xdeep strap, including drings at each butt cheek.

4) Only reason I'm looking to rehome this is that I also have a carbon fiber backplate for steel doubles which easily pulls double duty for the one or two times a year I can get down to the Caribbean for some saltwater diving. The wife says I have too much dive gear. She's probably not wrong. If I buy another pair of HP100s, she's going to have my head if I don't rehome a few other things first. Anyone need a pair of super-size grey Apeks RK3 fins, or a pair of large apeks tech shorts while we're at it?

5) As pictured, my luggage scale puts the whole setup at 8.0 lbs, including the cam bands, excluding the low pressure inflator hose (which I will send). You could shave a pound off that with slightly lighter weight webbing and aluminum drings and triglides, but you're just going to strap on 4-8 pounds of lead when you get there, so I didn't bother optimizing base weight down to the rediculous. This will probably be expensive to ship, but i'll cover that variable cost as long as we're sending it CONUS.

Rob,

Thanks for the expanded information. As much as I’d like to grab this I too have too much scuba gear and think I’ll pass and let some other lucky soul take it off your hands. Thanks!
