Looking for 3+ divers to dive Chinchorro with XTC dive operator during my stay there June 2 to June 14 2010. Pristine, low traffic destination.

I wish I could go. I've been to Xcalak twice for 10 and 14 days. I did my cert dives on the first trip. Both times I never made it out to the banks because of to few divers or weather. The low traffic makes it a great place to relax, but difficult to get to the banks. Half of my dives there were myself and the guide as my buddy. I'd go back for the local diving, but i have work travel commitments most of this summer. I hope you make it out there.

Try the Leaky Palapa while you are there. It is amazing the meals they can prepare in such a remote location.

I read about the Chinchorro Banks in Sport Diver, they mentioned Mahahual and Dreamtimediving. I am planning on mid July to go with my daughter, which is when we are available. Both the pro and the con is that its low traffic. It also seems very difficult and time consuming to get there from the Northeast US, but worth the journey. I look forward to hearing about your diving there.

We're headed to Xcalak in July and would love to share a boat to Chinchorro. We have 3 divers and XTC dive shop takes 4-8, so looking for 1-5 more. PM me if interested for exact dates.

Yes, please let me know your exact dates in July. I'll then inquire about the cost involved in changing my ticket.

FYI I am booked July 18 to July 27 into Mahahual, will be diving with my daughter, we will be with Dreamtimediving.com also hoping to get out to the Chinchorro banks, DTD needs only 4 for the trip.
