Hi,
As Divers, I thought we might be interesting in helping WWF Philippines, They are collecting members right now, members are people who pledge an amount to WWF in order to help save the enviorment. Please note that ALL funds raised locally will be used for thier projects in the Philippines.
Please take the time to read the letter of Lory Tan below, so you may have a better idea of what WWF has been doing here and how you can help.
Dear Friend,
Ever wondered what P2 can get you nowadays? 1 piece of bread for breakfast? 3 pieces of candy to last you 'til noon? Or cellphone load good for a day, perhaps?
What if we told you your P2 could get you something grander and more lasting? Like:
· Conserving the fragile habitat of the Irrawady Dolphin in the Malampaya Sound,
· Helping local communities in Anilao earn up to P105,000/month from divers' fees
· Coordinating efforts in exploring sources of renewable energy, effectively
Yes, it takes so little to do so much for our environment and the living things that inhabit it including you and your children.
Help us continue our work and become a member of WWF.
For a mere P600 (P2/day for a year), the help you offer will maintain our project sites, fund our activities, and upgrade the services we provide to our Supporters.
By making this one-time pledge, you will be entitled to the following:
- A WWF welcome pack
- Monthly e-newsletters highlighting current environmental issues, WWF
- Priority Status for Volunteering
What we think is the greatest gift for every member, however, is the satisfaction of knowing that you have made a difference in the conservation of our planet for future generations.
Everyone can make an impact. Including you.
Become a member today. Click on our Online Application Form and sign-up, or call 8496-WWF (8496-993).
