Plastic. I own one too but very rarely use it as I find it uncomfortable to use and not particularly ergonomic. It does however do the job, well, multiple jobs.

Wait till you lose the plastic cover on one--profoundly unpleasant.

I've got one (actually two but one is MIA). They are a bit light duty for a shop tool but perfect for your save-a-dive box if you ScubaPro.

And the cover removal tool is handy. Used mine today for that and removing a hose.
