Wreck accessible from shore?

There are a lot of wrecks diveable from shore. I'm in the Chicago area. The only one here is the George W. Morley off of Evanston. An interesting steamer sank in 1897. But don't make a special trip just for that. There are plenty of other wrecks to see on the local charters.
Oh yes, I forgot about the George F. Williams, because I haven't dove that yet. Tried on New Years Day, but the water was too rough, we just dove the marina.
 
I remember researching Milles Roches dive years ago then it went off my radar only to have resurfaced in this thread. Is there a dive operator there or any local divers whom I could buddy up with for a first time exploration? This looks like a very unique dive.

Tobermory has a few just outside the harbour. And then there's a bunch more out in the lake that could "technically" be shore dives, but the shore is an island, so there's that. ;-)
