Absolutely fantastic! I am so impressed with how the diver maintains his composure and buoyancy while gently “reeling in” the pup. Then, the quick work with the hook after establishing tonic mobility ... you would think that he does this every day. Bravo!

The Maldivian guides that I've had the pleasure of diving with were all really composed and seemed not afraid to try anything. Perhaps he has had to do that before.
As soon as I saw the video start, I thought, looks like Maldives. I meant the dive guide, not the bottom. And sure enough, it is indeed Maldives.
What was also shocking to me was that someone was fishing in the area of scuba divers. 4 trips and I never saw any evidence of such whether from below or above.
Obviously, one never knows, be careful out there
